Tonight before a crowd of 1,200 theatre-makers and theatre-lovers at the historic Lincoln Theatre, theatreWashington celebrated excellence on Washington stages at the 2015 Helen Hayes Awards. The awards celebration was a night of excitement and surprise as 57 Washington theatre artists, theatres, and ensembles received honors in 47 categories for their outstanding accomplishments during the 2014 theatre season. One of the country's most prestigious cultural honors, The Helen Hayes Awards recognizes and celebrates excellence in professional theatre throughout the Washington metropolitan area. theatreWashington will host The 2015 Helen Hayes Awards ceremony tonight, April 6, 2015 at the historic Lincoln Theatre.

MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey and William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) presented its annual gala, Miscast 2015 Gala last night at The Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center (311 West 34th Street). Miscast 2015 honored two bold and fearless women: Emmy® & Golden Globe® nominated stage and screen actress Sarah Paulson and Tony® Award-winning producer Fran Weissler. Some of Broadway's hottest female stars will be together on one stage in a Glee-like singing and dancing extravaganza -- The Broadway Dolls -- at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, April 11, at 8:30 p.m. This show will take the audience from pop and rock 'n' roll to Broadway and beyond.

Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of At This Performance... to be held on Sunday, March 22nd at The Lion Theatre , 410 West 42nd Street at 7 PM. Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.

Glee fans will adore The Broadway Dolls coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, April 11, at 8:30 p.m.

?Fresh off the #1 Billboard Cast Album chart debut of Side Show's Original 2014 Broadway Cast Recording, Broadway Records has announced that "Side Show: Added Attractions -- LIVE at 54 BELOW" will be released on May 19th, 2015.

The Jewish Channel will broadcast the latest edition of its popular theater-oriented monthly TV show, 'Row J,' to begin airing on demand today, March 10. 'Row J' is hosted by TJC correspondent Meredith Ganzman. The executive producer is Brian Scott Lipton.

Making their 54 Below debuts together, Emily Padgett and Erin Davie crafted a cabaret show that was filled with humor and heart. Singing duets and solo numbers, the lovely ladies who played Violet and Daisy Hilton in this season's Broadway revival of Side Show at the St. James Theatre skillfully entertained the dinner time crowd and left us looking forward to the next time they tread the boards on the Great White Way.
