Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Spongebob himself, Ethan Slater (The Spongebob Musical), and actress Katie LaMark (RENT, Mr. Robot) as guests of honor at the September edition of the Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame Mathieu's Soiree.
Hosted by five-time MAC Award nominee Drew Fornarola (off-Broadway's STRAIGHT) and directed by Tyler Spicer, this edition of the soiree will also feature poet Kirkwood Adams, dancer Ali Dietz, writer Eric Tipler, comedian John Griswold, actors Rachel Towne and Priyanka Krishnan, drag personality Chelsea Piers and singer Joseph Townsend. This is the 11th edition of the show, which has already featured over 150 individual artists and 25 Broadway guests.

The evening will be comprised of songs by composer/ lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh. Bisen-Hersh will be joined on stage by a phenomenal cast including Drew Aber (A Tale of Two Cities), Morgan Billings (The Sound of Music), Toby Blackwell (Rent), Brian Childers (Danny and Sylvia), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Nora Fox (The Sound of Music), Amy Griffin (How the Grinch Stole Christmas), Nina Hennessey (Bye, Bye Birdie), Teresa Hui, Lara Janine (Rock of Ages), Emily Klein (Parade), Elise Levin (Born Blue), Rita Markova (The Fantasticks), Michael McGurk (The Wedding Singer), Brianne Moore (The Visit), Brooke Sunny Moriber (The Wild Party), Kristine Reese (Wicked), Brian Charles Rooney (The Threepenny Opera), Stacy Shirk (Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog) and Haley Swindal (Jekyll & Hyde). The concert will be produced by Dennis Fowler, directed by Shana Solomon and stage managed by Heather Ber and Emma Peele.

Fornarola and Pailet will present selections from their shows, as well as debuting a set of songs from their first full-length collaboration, SUPER CLAUDIO BROS.: A Videogame Musical, which will have its world premiere this summer in Washington, DC (commissioned and produced by the New Musical Development Foundation, executive producer Charlie Fink). The evening will be directed by Scott Elmegreen with music direction by Zak Sandler.

Following rave reviews and a sold out run, COLLEGE The Musical has extended at this year's New York Musical Theater Festival.
