Sierra Repertory Theatre opens its 38th season with the feel-good musical comedy Sister Act. Based on the 1992 Whoopi Goldberg film, the show features music by Tony- and eight-time Oscar winner, Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors).
The show is wonderful to begin with; that you can be sure. Theatre Three's 33rd annual production of the beloved Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol has certainly become a beautiful tradition on Long Island. Even with slight changes throughout the years, this ageless production is as spectacular as ever.
Sierra Repertory Theatre presents a stage adaptation of the nostalgic holiday film, 'A Christmas Story,' November 11 - December 18 at the East Sonora Theatre on Mono Way.
The most legendary nose in literature gets a makeover with a lively American adaptation of the 1897 French classic, now through October 16. Sierra Repertory Theatre presents Edmond Rostand's romantic play, Cyrano, at its East Sonora Theatre. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Tony nominee Legally Blonde, The Musical, based on the 2001 Reese Witherspoon movie, had an exciting opening weekend complete with a stellar cast and a very enthusiastic audience. Truly, I can't say enough about this wonderful incarnation.
It is truly a pleasure seeing Shrek, The Musical. Based on the sure-to-be-classic DreamWorks Animation motion picture, the superb incarnation at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson boasts a truly remarkable cast. Running through June 25th, Jeffrey Sanzel wonderfully directs the large, talented company that is led by Danny Stalter - in his Theatre Three debut - as our favorite green ogre.
