Lighthouse Youth Theatre presents GREASE, live at the Westchester Broadway Theatre, today, May 12 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and May 19 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and children 16 and under. Patrons were treated to a classic trip down memory lane this week as four leading ladies of the legendary Persian Room New York came together for a book signing. Lainie Zazan, Michele Lee, Connie Stevens and Barbara Van Orden gathered at Barnes and Noble in California's The Grove to celebrate the release of Patty Farmer's new book "The Persian Room Presents." Anecdotes involving audience celebrity sightings included Barbara Streisand (by Stevens), Milton Berle (by Van Orden), Jack Jones and his thighs (by Lee) and a mob king who struck her while performing (by Kazan). AMERICAN IDOL's Season 11 Top Four compilation album, featuring full-length recordings of performances from last night's show, is now available at the iTunes Store. The compilation includes music in accordance with this week's themes, 'California Dreamin' and 'Songs We Wish We Wrote,' and for the first time this season, also features duets.

Redd, who appeared in the Broadway productions of RING OF FIRE and PARADE, will assume the role of Jerry Lee Lewis on Monday, May 14. Bouril, who was a part of the second season of HBO's acclaimed series "Boardwalk Empire," will begin performances as Sam Phillips Wednesday, May 16.

On December 4, 1956, an auspicious twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley together. The place was Sun Records' storefront studio in Memphis. The man who made it happen was Sam Phillips, the 'Father of Rock 'n' Roll,' who discovered them all. The four young musicians united for the only time in their careers for an impromptu recording that has come to be known as one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions of all time.

On Friday, May 25th at 7:30pm, the Ridgefield Playhouse Film Society 'Documentary Film Series' presents 'God Is The Bigger Elvis', produced and directed by Rebecca Cammisa. The documentary is the story of a remarkable place in Bethlehem, CT and a woman whose unlikely story opened the door to a world seldom seen by outsiders. Fifty years ago, Dolores Hart was a rising star in Hollywood. She had starred in ten movies with numerous iconic actors including Montgomery Clift, Anthony Quinn, Anna Magnani and Elvis Presley.
