Elvis fans from around the world will travel to Graceland in January to celebrate the king's birthday and kick-off a year-long celebration of the 60 th Anniversary of Elvis' breakout year in music, film and television in 1956.

GRAMMY award-winner Kenny Rogers brings his Once Again It's Christmas Tour, featuring Linda Davis, to Valley Forge Casino Resort (1160 First Avenue) tonight, December 18, 2015. Nineteen years after performing the farewell concert for the original Valley Forge Music Fair, Rogers returns for the Fair's grand revival. Rogers will perform holiday favorites, plus many of the 24 number one singles the country-pop singer has recorded throughout his 50-plus-year career. Doors will open at 7:00pm, with the show starting at 8:00pm. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster for $59.00 to $99.00 each.

Luigi Creatore, who with his cousin Hugo Peretti wrote and produced iconic hits for such stars as Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, Perry Como, Sarah Vaughan, Della Reese, Jimmie Rodgers, Patti Page and many others, including the Tokens' “Lion Sleeps Tonight,” Presley's “Can't Help Falling in Love” and “Wild in the Country,” and Cook's “Another Saturday Night” and “Twistin' the Night Away,” died of pneumonia at a Boca Raton hospice on Sunday, Dec. 13. He was 93.

Numerous events are scheduled, including the Elvis Presley Birthday Proclamation Ceremony on Friday, January 8 at 9:30 a.m. Central Time, which includes a cake cutting ceremony on the front lawn of Graceland in Memphis.
