San Diego Theatres' presentations for this season at the historic and nationally acclaimed Balboa Theatre continues with the pomp and pageantry of the Band of the Irish Guards & Royal Regiment of Scotland, appearing together for two performances on March 7.

On Friday, March 6 for two shows, Philadelphia's Rawk School of Music will present a live performance of their adult rock students at Walking Fish Theatre, 2509 Frankford Avenue in Kensington.

In collaboration with our major cultural partner, the Australian National Academy of Music, the Melbourne Cabaret Festival is ecstatic to present the planet's best and most famous quartet - the Brodsky Quartet from the UK - in collaboration with comedian, actor, composer, performer and 2009 Helpmann Award winner, Eddie Perfect. The Brodsky ensemble will be supplemented with Academy musicians.

Bill Frisell, Ron Carter, and Paul Motian - three of the top players on their respective instruments - will take the Blue Note stage in early December for a special series of trio concerts. The three legends recorded an album in 2006 for Nonesuch records under their own name, but rarely play together live. Brought back by popular demand, the group will reunite at the Blue Note from February 23 - 28.

Broadway Musicals of 1927 is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Ross Patterson musical directed the event, beginning his tenth season as the musical director of Broadway by the Year®.
