Jenni Barber, Quentin Earl Darrington, Bradley Dean, Dan Fogler, Ana Gasteyer, Josh Lamon, Aaron Lazar, Alyse Alan Louis and Rema Webb join Jonathan Groff in the Encores! Off-Center production of William Finn and James Lapine's A New Brain, running through June 27, 2015. The production is directed by James Lapine, with choreography by Josh Prince. Brandon Victor Dixon and Steven Pasquale will join the previously announced Sutton Foster in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, running July 15 - 18, 2015 at New York City Center. (NOTE: Brandon Victor Dixon will replace the previously announced Joshua Henry, who has had a scheduling conflict.) The production will be directed by Leigh Silverman, with choreography by Sonya Tayeh. Jeanine Tesori is the Artistic Director of Encores! Off-Center and Chris Fenwick is Music Director.
Jake Gyllenhaal, Chuck Cooper and Taran Killam will join the previously announced Ellen Greene in the Encores! Off-Center concert production ofHoward Ashman and Alan Menken's Little Shop of Horrors, running July 1-2, 2015. NOTE: A third performance has been added at 2pm on Thursday, July 2 in order to meet ticket demand. The production will be directed by Dick Scanlan, with choreography by Patricia Wilcox. Jeanine Tesori is the Artistic Director of Encores! Off-Center, and Chris Fenwick is Music Director. The show will mark the musical theater debuts of both Gyllenhaal and Killam.

New York City Center has announced that due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, the Encores! Off-Center production of Little Shop of Horrors will now play for two performances, on July 1 and 2, 2015.
Geva Theatre Center presents Little Shop of Horrors - the smash-hit musical by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, based on the 1960 film by Roger Corman. Directed by Sean Daniels, Little Shop of Horrors begins performances January 13, opens January 17 and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Mainstage through February 15.

According to the New York Times, Encores! has just announced the upcoming 2015 season for its Off-Center series. Included in the line-up is William Finn's A New Brain (running June 24-27), starring Jonathan Groff; Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party (running July 15-18), starring Off-Center veteran Sutton Foster; and Little Shop of Horrors (running July 1), with original cast member Ellen Greene.
Few singers have the expertly unique phrasing or deeply felt emotional delivery of Ellen Greene. She is a one.of.a.kind first class gem and after 10 long years, has finally released a second CD entitled Songs for a Winter's Night with her terrific musical partner Christian Klikovits at the piano. Fans of Greene will remember that in 2004 they collaborated on her first solo album the evocative In His Eyes.
