After high praise and SOLD-OUT performances last December, Seacoast Repertory Theatre is pleased to present A CHRISTMAS CAROL, A MUSICAL GHOST STORY again this holiday season!

As previously announced, TLC will provide an inside look into the most memorable, outrageous and headline-garnering ceremonies of 2011 on Friday, December 23 at 10:00 PM (ET/PT).

Based on the hit movie starring Reese Witherspoon, this critically acclaimed new musical is created by a top-of-their-class creative team, led by Tony Award-winning director and Olivier Award-nominated choreographer Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray). NBC kicks off the new year with the new reality competition series FASHION STAR which will search for the next big brand in fashion. The show will have its 2-hour series premiere on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 9/8c. Featuring host and executive producer Elle Macpherson along with celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos, the series will give 14 unknown designers the chance to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch their collections in three of America's largest retailers: Macy's, H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The Museum of Modern Art presents Sanja Ivekovi?: Sweet Violence, the first retrospective in the United States of the artist's work, from December 18, 2011, to March 26, 2012.

High school is never easy and, as Truman High's head cheerleader Campbell (the perfectly blonde Taylor Louderman) finds out, it's especially hard when last minute redistricting means you now have to attend inner-city Jackson High where there is no cheerleading! With a book by Jeff Whitty (Avenue Q) and music by Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) and Tom Kitt (Next to Normal), Bring It On: The Musical is bubbly, choreographed and, except for the occasional "biotch" to remind us that it's high school, clean, G-rated fun.

The Oxygen Network has just announced that they will capture Caroline D' Amore's life on a new reality show aptly named, 'That's D' Amore'. Although still in development, the show will center on Caroline and her two sisters as they attempt to 'keep it real in a not always so real town'. Refreshingly, her family's story of rags-to-riches will feature prominently in the backdrop, expounding on the journey from a single struggling pizzeria to eleven highly successful restaurants, the most recent of which just opened in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile shopping district; an amazing feat for a company still family owned and operated. In line with her meteoric rise to international stardom, Caroline's creative focus is geared toward Hollywood glamour, having made guest appearances on television shows such as, 'Entourage' and '90210', and performing in films including, 'Sorority Row', “Daydreamer' and 'Pizza with Bullets' which she won a best supporting actress award at The Angeles Film Festival.

Today, December 14, New York Times Chief Theatre Critic Ben Brantley released his list of favorite shows which premieres in 2011 in 'Ben Brantley's Best of 2011'. So who made the cut?

Film Independent, the non-profit arts organization that produces the Spirit Awards and the Los Angeles Film Festival, announced that Seth Rogen will serve as host for the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The 27th annual awards ceremony will be held as a daytime luncheon in a tent on the beach in Santa Monica on Saturday, February 25, and the premiere broadcast will air later that evening at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on IFC.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association has announced its nominees for the 17th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards. 'The Artist' and 'Hugo' tie for first place with 11 nominations each, while 'Drive' and 'The Help' each garnered 8 nominations.

Hot off Broadway, Drama Learning Center will present the area premiere of the musical, Legally Blonde! Presented by Teaching Young Actors, Drama Learning Center's Teen Professional Company, the show will run on selected dates from January 20-29. Legally Blonde is directed by Stephanie Lynn Williams (DLC's owner and artistic director), with music direction by Tiffany Underwood Holmes, and choreography by Jenny Male.
