Marcy Stonikas to Sing 'TOSCA' This Saturday for Seattle Opera

American soprano Marcy Stonikas will sing the role of Tosca at Seattle Opera's final performance of Puccini's masterpiece on Saturday, January 24. Lithuanian soprano Ausrine Stundyte, who sang on opening night and Wednesday, January 14, has withdrawn from the production after not recovering from a cold. Stundyte was originally scheduled to share the role with Mary Elizabeth Williams, who sang her own scheduled performance on January 11 as well as Stundyte's performances on January 17 and 21. Williams will also sing the Friday, January 23 performance, as scheduled.

DALLAS, TX, JANUARY 19, 2015 – The Dallas Opera is announcing cast changes for the company's upcoming new production of Alfredo Catalani's LA WALLY(Act IV).
Mexican tenor Rodrigo Garciarroyo will perform the leading role of Giuseppe Hagenbach on January 30 (opening night), February 1 and 4, 2015. Tenor Arnold Rawls will sing the role for the final performance scheduled on February 7, 2015. The singers are assuming the role after Carl Tanner recently withdrew, due to illness.

Producers Jonas Neilson, Paul Lambert and Elizabeth Williams announced today that they've found the founding members of the First Wives Club for the new Broadway-bound musical's premiere at Chicago's Oriental Theatre.
