The Stage has announced its 2020 list of most influential people in theatre.

Pitlochry's 2020 Season, announced today, is a great blend of new work from leading Scottish writers, timeless favourites and an extraordinary Broadway Musical.

Lila Rose Kaplan's, 100 PLANES gets its first full staging at Mastrogeorge Theatre under the direction of Elizabeth Newman. Set in 1997, the story revolves around an ambitious young Air Force pilot, Kay (Alain Rose Chock) and her intention to be chosen to fly the latest aircraft.

This May, the Octagon Theatre Bolton continue their 50th Anniversary season with their first off-site production of 2018 - a not to be missed site-specific staging of the much-loved 1960's musical film Summer Holiday. Constellation Theatre has mounted a breathtakingly beautiful production of Naomi Iizuka's labyrinthine play, 36 VIEWS. The play draws inspiration from legendary Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai's renowned series of woodblock prints, "36 Views of Mt. Fuji," created between 1826 and 1833. The narrative, like the 36 views, revolves around ever-shifting points of focus, leading the audience on a dizzying journey across centuries of Japanese history, art and culture. Simple this production is not, but oh what spectacular views along the way.
