Target Margin Theater celebrates 25 years of theater making with one of America's greatest playwrights.

SPACE on Ryder Farm will present Taylor Mac's A 24-Decade History of Popular Music: 1986-2016, August 6 & 7 at 7 PM. Music Director Matt Ray will join Mac for the work-in-progress performances, which span three decades from Mac's wildly ambitious, multi-year effort to chart the history of popular music in America, from the nation's founding in 1776 to the present day. Tickets are available for $35 through July 15, and $40 after, at www.spaceonryderfarm.org/calendar/taylor-mac.

Artistic Director Robert Lyons presents the 23rd annual OBIE Award-winning Ice Factory Festival. Ice Factory 2016 takes place at New Ohio Theatre, located at 154 Christopher Street between Greenwich and Washington Streets in New York City. Ice Factory 2016 will present seven new works over seven weeks, running from June 29 - August 13, 2016.

Abingdon Theatre Company recently celebrated the opening night of STET, a new play which has extended its Off-Broadway performances through July 10. Written by Kim Davies and developed by Kim Davies, Jocelyn Kuritsky and Tony Speciale, STET is produced in association with The Muse Project.  Artistic Director Tony Speciale directs the world-premiere drama inspired by the Rolling Stone article 'A Rape on Campus.'

Abingdon Theatre Company, in association The Muse Project, announces a week-long extension of STET, with Off-Broadway performances now running through July 10.

Target Margin Theater presents The ICEMAN Lab, a radical new reimaging of The Iceman Cometh, with four diverse theater artists each tackling a separate act of the play. This fresh take on O'Neill's classic will give audiences the opportunity to see each act as a separate experiment or all together in a single sitting. The four acts of The ICEMAN Lab play a varied schedule at the HERE Arts Center (145 6th Avenue) beginning today, June 2 through June 25, with special marathon performances on June 11 and June 18.

Kairos Italy Theater presents IN SCENA! WINTER, a special encore presentation of two acclaimed shows from previous IN SCENA! ITALIAN THEATER FESTIVALS: Francesco Foti's NIUIORC NIUIORC (seen in 2013) and Compagnia Ragli's ITALY HAS RISEN by Rosario Mastrota (seen in 2014). The Exponential Festival, Brooklyn's new multi-week festival promoting theatrical performances created in New York, begins today. The festival kicks off with the opening of Banana Bag & Bodice's highly anticipated LongYarn at The Bushwick Starr.

THE OFFENDING GESTURE -- a play by Mac Wellman -- will be given its world premiere by The Tank (a non-profit arts presenter and producer) this winter, opening tonight, January 9, at The Connelly Theater (220 East 4th Street).

? Ghostlight Records has released the PRELUDES Original Cast Recording in digital formats and in stores today, January 8, 2016. Produced by LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and engaging new audiences, PRELUDES is a new musical by Dave Malloy, inspired by the music of Sergei Rachmaninoff, developed with and directed by Rachel Chavkin. The album is produced by Dean Sharenow. The CD jewel-case package contains a 32-page booklet with full lyrics and production photography. Ghostlight previously released the original cast album of Malloy and Chavkin's musical Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, which is opening on Broadway later this year starring Josh Groban. Lovers of Italian theater lovers won't have to wait until 4th annual IN SCENA! ITALIAN THEATER FESTIVAL NY premieres in May. Beginning February 4th, Kairos Italy Theater (KIT), the preeminent Italian theater company in New York, will present IN SCENA! WINTER. The program will feature encore performances from two past festivals: Francesco Foti's NUOIRC NUIORC  (seen in 2013) and Compagnia Ragli's ITALY HAS RISEN by Rosario Mastrota (seen in 2014).
