Esparza to Star in Center Theatre Group's LEAP OF FAITH This Fall

Raul Esparza will be appearing in the Center Theatre Group's production of Leap of Faith, which Esparza participated in a reading for in the past. The world-premiere will take place Sept. 5-Oct. 17. With music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater, Leap of Faith is based on the Steve Martin film of the same title. Tony award-winner Rob Ashford will be directing and choeographing.

New Series RUBICON, MAD MEN & More Part Of AMC Summer Programing Lineup

AMC announced today that Sunday, July 25th will mark the highly-anticipated return of television's best drama, AMC's 'Mad Men.' Airing Sunday nights at 10 PM (ET/PT), the award-winning series returns to the network for its fourth season. On Sunday, August 1, AMC will debut its newest original series 'Rubicon,' starring James Badge Dale ('The Pacific'), with its first two episodes airing back-to-back, from 8PM-10PM (ET/PT), followed by 'Mad Men' at 10 PM. Following its debut, 'Rubicon' will move to its regular timeslot, airing Sundays at 9 PM (ET/PT).

AMC's 'Mad Men' Set To Return For Fourth Season On 7/25

According to Variety, AMC's hit series 'Mad Men' will return for its fourth season this summer on July 25. Season four of the Emmy-winning program will come back in its normal Sunday time-slot at 10:00PM.

Taking a page from the GLEE book, AMC's Mad Men are trying their hand at musical performance, beginning with a rendition of Bye Bye Birdie from the musical classic of the same name. Production is gearing up for the hit show's fourth season on April 12, 2010, but there is no word as to whether any musical clips will make the broadcast episodes. The 67th Golden Globe Awards were broadcast live on NBC tonight from the Beverly Hilton. The awards ceremony was seen in more than 160 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. Winners of this year's awards include GLEE for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical, Meryl Streep for 'Julie & Julia', Michael C. Hall for 'Dexter', Alec Baldwin for '30 Rock', John Lithgow for his role on 'Dexter', Christoph Waltz for 'Inglourious Basterds', and HBO's 'Grey Gardens'.

Nominees for the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® for outstanding performances in 2009 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center's Silver Screen Theater in West Hollywood.

Satellite Nominations Announced, 'Nine' Receives 11, 'Glee' Receives 5, Presented 12/20

The Golden Satellite Nominations were announced today and the film version of Maury Yeston's 'Nine' received 11 nominations, inclduing Best Motion Picture and Best Director for Rob Marshall. In addition, television favorite 'Glee' received 5 nominations including Best Television Series, Best Actor in a Series for Matthew Morrison and Best Actress in a Series Lea Michele.

Review - High School Musical & Speed-the-Plow

Though last Sunday night was my first exposure to anything associated with the Disney triptych of made for television movies carrying the banner, High School Musical, it's my guess, judging from the enthusiastic reception the production received from an opening night audience loaded with young theatergoers, that fans of the series will not be disappointed. Paper Mill does their usual highly professional job, with a talented, energetic cast delivering Mark S. Hoebee's buoyant, quick-paced direction with gusto and singing attractively under music director Bruce W. Coyle. Denis Jones' choreography nicely fits the athletic and cheery requirements of the show's atmosphere and the design elements are sharply delivered via Kenneth Foy's kinetic set, Wade Laboissonniere's colorful, clique defining costumes and Tom Sturge's celebratory lights.
