Today at the '19 presentation, Hulu released the official trailer for season three of The Handmaid's Tale.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today announced the nominations for the 2019 Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards and British Academy Television Craft Awards. These awards reward the very best in television craft and television programmes broadcast in the UK in 2018. The Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards ceremony will be held at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 12 May with the British Academy Television Craft Awards taking place two weeks earlier on Sunday 28 April at The Brewery, London.

Brandi Carlile performs a solo, acoustic rendition of her Grammy Award-winning single, “The Joke,” on today's episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Carlile also joins host Ellen DeGeneres for an interview. SAG-AFTRA members Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Jennifer Aniston and Regina King are throwing their support behind the union's #StrikeBBH campaign to ensure fair wages and safe sets for actors who work on commercials. They join Rami Malek, Rachel Brosnahan, Scarlett Johansson, Octavia Spencer, Sterling K. Brown and Alec Baldwin in supporting the strike, issuing a joint statement that reads, "We stand united with our fellow performers who work in commercials, who seek fair wages, safe sets, access to health care and a meaningful pension. It's time for advertisers and agencies like Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Inc. (BBH) to do the right thing. When you make an ad, make it union." The ad agency is attempting to illegally abandon its union contract with SAG-AFTRA after almost 20 years.

Brandi Carlile will continue her extensive tour through 2019 including a special debut headline performance at New York City's Madison Square Garden on September 14. Additional stops include Chicago's Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, St. Paul's Minnesota State Fair, Philadelphia's The Mann and Berkeley's The Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley among others. Universal Pictures has released the newest trailer for US, a new nightmare from the mind of Academy Award Winner Jordan Peele, Writer & Director of Get Out.

According to Variety, Elisabeth Moss and Susan Sarandon have joined “Call Jane,” a film that follows a 1960s underground abortion movement in the U.S. Sian Heder (“Tallulah”) will direct.

Last night, the Critics' Choice Awards were announced. Taking home the top prize of Best Picture was Roma. Also, in a surprising turn of events, both Lady Gaga and Glenn Close took home the award for Best Actress, for A Star is Born and The Wife, respectively.
