On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.

IN A SEA OF FACES: A New Folk Opera by Jahn Sood will be presented at Cloud City, an alternative arts space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 85 N. 1st St, running September 15-22, 2016. The piece is made up of folk songs and movement and is a celebration of oral tradition, family and life near the ocean.

Bring Him Home is set for Oct. 5 and is being organized by the late young star's friend, fellow Baldwin Wallace University alum/Broadway performer Corey Mach, with all proceeds going to Jean-Baptiste's family.
