Photo Flash: First Look at Orlando Shakespeare's VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF presents VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE. Winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, Vanya is a comedy about two dysfunctional siblings and the wild weekend that unfolds when their famous sister returns with her hunky new boy toy. VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE appears from now through May 1, 2016 (Opening Night is tonight, April 1) in the Goldman Theater. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF presents Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Cincinnati Playhouse to Present THE REVOLUTIONISTS

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park unleashes girl-powered comedy with THE REVOLUTIONISTS, Lauren Gunderson's irreverent world premiere about four badass femmes of the French Revolution. THE REVOLUTIONISTS debuts in the Playhouse's Thompson Shelterhouse Theatre Feb. 5 through March 6.

DARIUS & TWIG Set for Women's Voices Theater Festival

The Kennedy Center presents the world premiere production of Darius & Twig in the Kennedy Center Family Theater from October 30 - November 8, 2015. Part of the Women's Voices Theater Festival and the Kennedy Center's Theater for Young Audiences 2015-2016 season, the production is based on the award-winning novel by Walter Dean Myers, adapted by Caleen Sinnette Jennings, and directed by Eleanor Holdridge. The press opening performance is Friday, October 30, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Darius & Twig is most appropriate for patrons ages 13 and up.

I've been watching Ms. Ursula onstage in the DC area for years, and she's never failed to impress, but her performance here is simply at another level. I am glad she had the opportunity, under Eleanor Holdridge's thoughtful direction, to show us all of what she can do - and in a locally grown, thought-provoking, world premiere play at that.
