Robin Leach writes: 'I can safely confirm Steve's "very serious interest" in moving the high-flying spectacular to open in his Encore Theater in a year, but nothing is apparently yet signed and sealed. Jason Gotay, who recently appeared on Broadway as "Randall" in Bring It On: The Musical, will join the company of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark as the Peter Parker / Spider-Man Alternate. Gotay will play select performances at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street) with a varied week to week performance schedule beginning at the end of October. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, last month, Daniel Curry, an actor from SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK was tragically injured during a performance of the accident-plagued Broadway musical. On August 15, the performance was halted and audience members sent home after a piece of equipment pinned an actor's leg underneath it, causing the injury.
