New York's Wicked hosted 'Wicked Day' on Sunday, October 28. In partnership with the New York Restoration Project, Wicked has restored a public community garden with Bette Midler.
In honor of its upcoming 4th Anniversary on Broadway, the hit musical Wicked will host special 'Wicked Day' celebrations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, and Boston, where the national tour will be playing at the end of October. Bette Middler hosts special event Sunday October 28, opening 'Friendship Garden'
The Broadway musical Wicked has added a special benefit performance to its playing schedule on Sunday, October 7 at 8PM. All proceeds from this performance will go to the non-profit New York Restoration Project to establish an ongoing maintenance fund for 'The Friendship Garden,' a community garden in upper Manhattan which is currently being restored.
Tony Award winning performer SAVION GLOVER will direct and choreograph a presentation of a new musical, TIMMY THE GREAT, as part of the Tribeca Theater Festival.
