Bonnie and Clyde, the Musical will open on Broadway December 1, 2011. In the weeks before the opening I will be rebroadcasting interviews I did with the stars and the creative team when they worked on the show at the Asolo Theater in Sarasota FL., and adding new interviews.

The most monumental watercolors that Ford has painted to date, three of the works measure approximately 9 x 12 feet on a single sheet of paper.

The Best of Broadway and Cabaret came out to support the Actors Temple (est. 1923) on Sunday, November 21, 2010. Located at 339 West 47th Street, this theater district landmark has fallen on hard times in recent years and so member, producer Randie Levine-Miller spoke to Rabbi Jill Hausman and said, 'Let's put on a musical -- benefit!' The rabbi was delighted, so Randie reached out to some of her theater and cabaret friends, and voila! The concert took place at the temple at 7:30 PM with 18 extraordinary (many award winning) performers: (in alphabetical order) Raissa Katona Bennett, Christina Bianco, Len Cariou, Douglas J. Cohen, Eric Comstock, Jamie deRoy, Barbara Fasano, Beth Fowler, Anita Gillette, Jackie Hoffman, George S. Irving, Alice Levine, Kurt Peterson, Wade Preston, Steve Ross, Cheryl Stern, Sal Viviano, Martin Vidnovic. Dennis Buck was the musical director. Producer Levine-Miller was the host the event. The Horatio Alger Musical with a Book by Richard Seff; Music by Roger Dean Anderson and Lyrics by Lee Goldsmith is being presented by Other Side Productions (Peter Mercurio, Chuck Blasius - Co-Artistic Directors) as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival at The Theater at St. Clements, 423 West 46th Street. The director is Peter Flynn and the choreographer is Devanand Janki. With a highly melodic, hummable and bouncy score with bright lyrics, "SHINE the Horatio Alger Musical", has tons of period atmosphere, nostalgic charm, comedy and entertainment. It is a hope and dreams musical with a touch of "Annie", a smidgen of "Oliver", a dash of "Tintypes" as well as a smattering of musical joys that will delight! A multi-talented cast of 18 makes this one of the largest of the festival productions. Performances will be: Thurs. 10/7 at 8pm; Sat. 10/9 at 5pm; Mon. 10/11, at 9pm; Fri. 10/15, at 1pm; Sat. 10/16, at 9pm and Sun. 10/17 at 3pm.

The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, a grand concert showcasing the Tony®, Grammy® and Academy Award®-winning composer's biggest and most memorable hits, makes its way to the Orange County Performing Arts Center for a special one-week-only engagement February 16 - 21 in Segerstrom Hall.
As musical theater composers go, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has a staggering amount of hits in his repertoire of past shows. THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, the mini-concert tour now performing through Sunday, February 21 at The Orange County Performing Arts Center, serves as a musical gathering of most of the living legend's greatest hits (and a few not-so-successful, more obscure show compositions as well) into a tight two-hour-and-fifteen-minute concert that's less a theater experience than a symphony concert with some amazing singers. Enhanced by a terrific, full on-stage orchestra under the direction of conductor/musical director Edward G. Robinson, six talented Broadway veterans take the audience show by show through Webber's catalogue.
The cast for The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, which makes a visit to the Orange County Performing Arts Center February 16 - 21, will star performers who are noted interpreters of Lloyd Webber's music and well known to Broadway fans.
Jeffrey Finn Productions' THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER will close on February 14 at the Merriam Theater.
