The CW Orders Pilot from Screenwriter and Novelist Lauren Bird Horowitz for THE STORY OF DAVID

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ The CW has ordered a pilot from screenwriter and novelist Lauren Bird Horowitz. The Story of David is based on the real-life story of a first generation Hispanic American who rose from poverty in a gang-riddled ghetto to achieve soccer stardom. Stephanie Germain and Selby Lane Enterprises will produce the gritty family drama. Horowitz, who has previously written for the CW and ABC Family, is represented by CAA.
