The Golden Satellite Nominations were announced today and the film version of Maury Yeston's 'Nine' received 11 nominations, inclduing Best Motion Picture and Best Director for Rob Marshall. In addition, television favorite 'Glee' received 5 nominations including Best Television Series, Best Actor in a Series for Matthew Morrison and Best Actress in a Series Lea Michele.

SHOWTIME has announced the air dates for some its highly-anticipated programming for first and second quarter 2010. Highlighting the new schedule will be a Monday comedy block pairing of the second season of SHOWTIME's acclaimed Nurse Jackie starring Emmy award-winner Edie Falco leading into the second season of United States of Tara showcasing Toni Collette in her Emmy award-winning title role. Nurse Jackie will premiere on Monday, March 22 at 10:00 PM ET/PT followed by United States of Tara at 10:30 PM ET/PT.

Previews began on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 for the first ever Broadway production of OLEANNA, the provocative drama by Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet. Starring Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (Doubt), the play is a gripping account of a power struggle between a male university professor and one of his female students. The Broadway production celebrated Opening Night on Sunday, October 11 at at The Golden Theatre and BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there.

RFK: The Journey to Justice is a commission led by the University of Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center and co-commissioned by the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland, Stanford Lively Arts at Stanford University, and the Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond. '30 Rock' will add a new address in 2011 as COMEDY CENTRAL has reached a multi-year deal with NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution to license the Emmy(R) Award-winning comedy series '30 Rock,' it was announced today by Frances Manfredi, executive vice president/general sales manager, cable and non-theatrical sales for NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution and David Bernath, senior vice president, program strategy & microwave programming for COMEDY CENTRAL.

Vassar & New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Theater announces the cast for the first of three Mainstage productions of the 25th anniversary season: Ninety, by Joanna Murray-Smith, directed by Maria Mileaf, beginning performances June 30 and running through July 12, and new additions to the star-filled line-up for the 25th anniversary gala benefit, 'Silver Celebration under the Stars,' June 27.

In this Dallas version of Terrence McNally?s award winning play, both leads are African-American. When the play first opened on Broadway in June 1987 at the Manhattan Theater Club, it starred white actors Kathy Bates and Kenneth Welsh. A revival of the play featured popular actors Edie Falco and Stanley Tucci, both of Italian heritage, with the roles subsequently filled by actors Rosie Perez and Joe Pantoliano, both of Latin ancestry.

On Monday, June 8th, at 10:30 PM ET/PT, SHOWTIME will premiere the new, half-hour dark comedy NURSE JACKIE, marking the triumphant return to premium television of Emmy Award-winning actress Edie Falco. The series, inspired from the provocative journal of a real-life Manhattan ER nurse, is executive produced by Caryn Mandabach, John Melfi, Liz Brixius and Linda Wallem.

Additional performances for the 63rd Annual Tony Awards® Telecast were announced today. Dolly Parton along with the cast of 9 to 5: The Musical; Elton John with the cast of Billy Elliot, The Musical; Liza Minnelli; Stockard Channing; and the band Poison along with the cast of Rock of Ages, will be taking the stage, joining previously announced performances by this year's Tony-nominated Best Musicals and Best Musical Revivals, including: Billy Elliot, The Musical; Guys and Dolls; HAIR; Next to Normal; Pal Joey; Rock of Ages; Shrek the Musical; and West Side Story.
