A CHRISTMAS CAROL, based on Charles Dickens' classic Christmas story, written by Richard Hellesen, music & lyrics by David De Berry, directed by Ernest A. Figueroa will have its Los Angeles Premiere and opening, Saturday, November 28, 7:30 pm, at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in North Hollywood. The musical plays Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays 7:30 pm, with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm, through December 20, 2009.

Phoenix Theatre Ensemble, an artist-directed theatre company now in its 6th Season, announces that Co-Artistic Director Kathy Menino's slightly twisted adaptation of Goldilocks and the Three Bears will open on Saturday, December 5 at 11:00 AM and 1:00 pm. It will play again the following Saturday, December 12 at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at The Wild Project at 195 East 3rd Street between Avenue A and Avenue B.

As the conductor of the famed Boston Pops orchestra, he has upheld what is affectionately known as 'The Pops Sound' and audiences expect it when they visit Symphony Hall. The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye is reporting today that Kerry Eliis is confirmed to replace Jody Prenger in the West End production of Oliver!, now playing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. She plays opposite Omid Djalili as Fagin, with Griff Rhys set to take over the role on 14 December, 2009.

Andrew Lloyd Webber was recently admitted back to the hospital having developed a 'postoperative infection following surgery to remove his prostate three weeks ago.' Lloyd Webber remained in the hospital for a few days to monitor the infection and is now resting at home. The famed maestro of the musical stage posted a thank you message on his official website in response to the many get well wishes he received.
