The new musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT announced today that a limited number of $36.50 student rush tickets will be available for purchase in-person at the Imperial Theatre box office (249 West 45th Street) when it opens for that day's performance only. There is a limit of one ticket per person with a valid student ID. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances. Seat locations may be partial view.
Two-time Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick and three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara in NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, featuring music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, will begin performances on Broadway on Thursday, March 29, 2012 and officially open on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). The production is directed & choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall and features a book by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro.

The producers of the new Broadway musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT today announced a "'S Wonderful" box office opening on Thursday, March 1st beginning at 10 a.m. at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street).
When Beyonce took the stage back in August for four electrifying nights at the famed Roseland Ballroom, only 3,500 lucky fans per night, who bought those tickets in a record 22 seconds, were able to catch the intimate shows in the historic New York venue where she managed to turn a club into a coliseum.
Commissioner Adrian Benepe today joined Deputy Borough President Ed Burke, Mark Russo of Friends of Abandoned Ceremonies, and Janice Blanchard of the Travis Fourth of July Parade Committee to break ground on a $1.2-million construction project at Independence Park in the Travis community of Staten Island. Later in the day, Commissioner Benepe broke ground on a $2.5-million project to construct a synthetic turf playing field and tot lot at New Dorp Beach. He was joined by Borough President James Molinaro, Council Member Vincent Ignizio, Assemblywoman Elect Nicole Malliotakis, and Congressman Elect Michael Grimm to celebrate the new field.
