TVGuide.com reports that Chazz Palminteri, Ed Begley Jr., and Chris Vance are among the actors who will guest star on the next season of the TNT drama RIZZOLI & ISLES.

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, Gerald Goehring, Michael F. Mitri and Dorothy Berloni are developing BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE, a new Broadway musical based on the popular 2000 novel by Kate DeCamillo. Casting for a developmental reading is currently underway and set to take place in early March. This is set to be followed by an out of town engagement and Broadway production, the timing of which will be confirmed at a later date.

The New Frontier Story Lab has selected Question Bridge as part of the five project teams to attend. The lab will focus on supporting projects that have original stories and engage audiences in innovative ways, across multiple platforms. Adult Swim announced today that it has picked up a fourth season of Childrens Hospital, the irreverent, satirical comedy series created by and starring Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart). Adult Swim has ordered 14 new episodes for premiere in 2012, and principal photography will begin later this year on the hit comedy from Corddry and fellow executive producers/writers Jonathan Stern (producer of The Ten and NTSF:SD:SUV::) and David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models, the upcoming Wanderlust).

Award-winning actor Martin Sheen, set to star in a one-night only reading of Samuel Shem & Janet Surrey's record-breaking play Bill W. and Dr. Bob, will be sharing the stage with a diverse group of acclaimed actors: Emmy Award nominee Ed Begley Jr. (Spinal Tap, St. Elsewhere), veteran stage and screen actress JoBeth Williams (Poltergeist, Kramer vs. Kramer) and Stephanie Zimbalist (Remington Steele, The Story Lady). A joint fundraiser for the Geffen Playhouse andHazelden- a non-profit leader in addiction treatment for more than 60 years - the evening will feature a reading of the play, a post-show discussion with the cast and playwrights as well as a dessert reception. Directed by Jenny Sullivan, Bill W. and Dr. Bob recounts the story of Bill Wilson and Dr. Robert Smith, two men whose friendship ultimately led to the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous. Together with their wives, who went on to develop Al-Anon Family Groups, their discoveries have touched and saved countless lives since the program's inception. The reading will take place on Monday, June 27 at 8pm.
