Darius de Haas and Sam Davis At Next NEW VOICES Concert 4/26

The sixth season of the acclaimed Monday Nights, New Voices series continues April 26th at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre. Rent's Darius de Haas will host an evening of new Voices, featuring the talents of Sarah Aili, Sarah Corey, Drew Pournelle, Stuart Matthew Price and Tricia Tanguy. Show time is 7 PM.

NCTC Presents BOYS WILL BE BOYS, An OUT-rageous Musical Revue, 5/21 - 6/26

NCTC is proud to present the West Coast premiere of Boys Will Be Boys, with Lyrics and Dialogue by Joe Miloscia, Music by Kenneth Kacmar, and Directed by Andrew Nance. The show previews May 21 - May 28, 2010 (Press Night is May 28th), opens on Saturday, May 29th and runs through June 26, 2010: Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Scott Alan Comes to Birdland 4/12 with De Haas, Steggert, Burtka, et. al

Jim Caruso's Cast Party is proud to present the return of composer Scott Alan to Birdland on Monday, April 12 at 7pm. This event is part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series, which showcases performers and composers from the Great White Way. Mr. Alan will be joined by a host of Broadway leading men, all singing his theatrical, pop-infused compositions.

Mary Testa, Jenny Giering Guest At 'New Voices Concert' 3/29

Mary Testa, most recently seen as General Cartwright in the Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls, will host an evening of new Voices, featuring the talents of Julia Burrows, Brian Golub, Ashley McKay, Barry Shafrin and Shaina Taub. Show time is 7 PM.

Steggert, de Haas et al. Join Scot Alan in Concert @ Birdland, 4/12

Theatrical composer and lyricist Scott Alan will be joined by some of today's brightest men on the New York theatre scene for a special concert at Birdland on April 12, 2010. The line-up includes The Broadway Boys, Darius de Haas (Children of Eden), Bobby Steggert (Ragtime, Yank), Josh Lamon (Hair), Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music), Nicholas Rodriguez (One Life To Live), Grasan Kingsberry (Finian's Rainbow), Matt Doyle (Bye Bye Birdie), Michael Seelbach (Wicked), Jay A. Johnson (Hair), and recording artist RJ Helton and Brandon Webman. The concert begins at 7pm.

Composer Alan to Perform at Prince of Wales, 3/13 - CANCELLED

Composer and Lyricist Scott Alan will return to London's West End on Saturday, March 13th, 2010, as he takes to the stage of the Prince of Wales Theatre's Delfont Room. This intimate concert will feature Scott Alan at the piano playing some of his most beloved songs from his CD's 'Dreaming Wide Awake,' and 'Keys,' as well as songs from his upcoming CD, 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' which he is currently in the studio recording with some of today's brightest Broadway and West End performers.

THE MEETING, Hosted by Justin Sayre, Returns to the Duplex on 2/8

The Meeting* is a monthly comedy/variety show for homosexuals and their friends. A 'gay' romp through politics, sexual and otherwise, social news, music, skits, and other important life-changing information. Produced by Adam J. Rosen & Rudy Scala, The Meeting* returns to The Duplex Cabaret Theatre on February 8th at 9:30 pm with host Justin Sayre. Past "agenda items" have included the romantic saga of gay penguins at the Central Park Zoo, a nativity play celebrating the birth of Quentin Crisp, a guide to the so-called "gay panic" defense, and musical numbers with cabaret star Molly Pope. The February show will pay tribute to the life of Warhol Superstar Jackie Curtis.
