The Gateway will open their 65th season with "42nd Street" - led by three-­time Tony Award nominee Randy Skinner - May 21 to June 8 at Bellport's Gateway Playhouse.

A rookie actress from Allentown, PA, she quite literally bumps into the opportunity of a lifetime - the chance to be part of big time director Julian Marsh's new musical. Darien Crago is instantly likeable as Peggy - bright-eyed and full of positivity. And she has every reason to be that way - the girl can dance circles around anyone without breaking a sweat (especially in the delightful dance competition between Crago and Drew Humphrey on a city street). In the right place at the right time, she gets a part in the show and more off-stage drama than she bargained for.

The cast features: James Clow (Bob Wallace), Tony Yazbeck (Phil Davis), Jill Paice (Betty Haynes), Meredith Patterson (Judy Haynes), Edward James Hyland (General Waverly) and Lorna Luft (Martha Watson). The Town Hall, New York's landmark concert venue, conclude the 11th season of the acclaimed Broadway By The Year® Series with The Broadway Musicals of 1997 last night, June 20th. The highlight of the evening included reunion performances from the original Jekyll & Hyde stars including Robert Cuccioli (Tony Nominee), Linda Eder (Drama Desk Nominee) and Christiane Noll.

The Town Hall (123 W 43rd Street), New York's landmark concert venue will conclude the 11th season of the acclaimed Broadway By The Year® Series with The Broadway Musicals of 1997 on Monday, June 20th at 8PM. Performers already announced from the 1997 hit Jekyll & Hyde include Robert Cuccioli (Tony Nominee), Linda Eder (Drama Desk Nominee), and Christiane Noll (who will also be directing the concert). From 1997's The Life, Lillias White (Tony Winner) and Chuck Cooper (Tony Winner). Also in the show, Karen Ziemba (Tony Nominee) from 1997's Steel Pier, The Scarlet Pimpernel's acclaimed star Christine Andreas, and Jeffry Denman, Drama Desk Nominee for Yank! These acclaimed stars will be joined by Drama Desk Nominee Christina Bianco (Forbidden Broadway, Newsical, The Musical), David Burnham (The Best is Yet to Come: The Music of Cy Coleman, Wicked), Erin Denman (42nd Street), Drew Humphrey (Irving Berlin's White Christmas), Jennifer Rias (Broadway by the Year: 1921) and Tyler Maynard (Mary Poppins).

The song and tap extravaganza 42nd STREET previews March 30th, opens April 10th and runs through May 29th at the Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. The Broadway production of 42nd STREET won the Tony Award for Best Musical and Choreography in 1980, and Best Revival in 2001. The Marriott Theatre's production will feature Direction and Musical Staging by 2010 Jeff Award winner Rachel Rockwell, Choreography by 2010 Jeff Award winner Tammy Mader, with Musical Direction by multi-Jeff Award winner Doug Peck.
