Actress & singer Carman Napier will make her New York City solo show debut in Little Fish, Big Apple. Carman first appeared in New York in Songs For A New World and recently garnered acclaim for her portrayal of Diana in Next To Normal at The Gallery Players. This evening of musical theater and pop songs will also feature stage and screen star Anita Gillette (Chapter Two, Cabaret, Moonstruck, 30 Rock) and the talents of Noah Ricketts (Beautiful:The Carol King Musical) and Samantha Cutler (Billy Elliot: The Musical). Little Fish, Big Apple will be performed at Stage 72 at The Triad on Monday, February 23rd at 9 pm. Doors at 8:30 pm.

Today Carmel Road Winery announced a partnership with award-winning Barrymore Wines, founded by actress and wine enthusiast Drew Barrymore in 2010, to create a new Pinot Grigio. The Barrymore by Carmel Road wine will be available nationwide in time for holiday gatherings.

Remember the totally awesome days of neon and spandex? They're Here! Playhouse South is going full on 1980's with their production of THE WEDDING SINGER, based on the popular 1998 film starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. The show takes place in 1986 and follows Robbie Hart, New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. When his fiancee leaves him at the altar, he discovers that he cannot stand to be around weddings and lashes out at every happy couple for whom he sings. Heartbroken, he is forced to reexamine the meaning of love and marriage before he destroys every wedding in New Jersey. With the help of Julia, a local catering waitress, Robbie embarks on a hilarious journey of identity, romance, and Bar Mitzvahs.
