Madison Square Park Conservancy today announced Fall Kids Fest 2014, a day of free outdoor fun for children taking place in Madison Square Park on Saturday, October 18 from 11am-2pm.

Inspire Creative, a performing arts company based in Colorado, announces their musical production of SHREK The Musical opening Thursday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m. and continues Friday, September 19 at 7:30 pm., Saturday, September 20 at 7:30 pm., and Sunday, September 21 at 2:00pm. Shows continue on Thursday, September 25 at 7:30 pm., Friday, September 26 at 7:30 pm., and Saturday, September 27 at 7:30 pm. Tribune Media Company today announced the appointment of John Batter as chief executive officer of Gracenote and executive vice president of Tribune Media.
