Cast, Creative Teams Set for DCPA's GLASS MENAGERIE and FRANKENSTEIN

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) has announced the full casting and artistic teams for their fall Theater Company productions of The Glass Menagerie and Frankenstein. The lineup includes returning artists from past seasons, new collaborators, and familiar faces from the Colorado theatre community.

BWW Reviews: SHERLOCK Drops Some Knowledge on Cincinnati

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park started their new season off with Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Suicide Club. The Playhouse started this new season exactly like last season ended, pretty great. Sherlock is a great way to start a season; not only was is thoroughly enjoyable but the cast was stellar as well.

The play is an inventive mash-up of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic characters and the Robert Louis Stevenson short story 'The Suicide Club,' providing a clever, intricately woven new mystery for Holmes to deduce. SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE ADVENTURE OF THE SUICIDE CLUB runs today, Sept. 6 through Oct. 4 in the Robert S. Marx Theatre.

Review - Mary Broome

Subtle British comedies of sex, morality and class like Mary Broome rarely wash up on these shores without the name George Bernard Shaw attached to them.  But thankfully the beachcombers of the Mint Theatre Company, specialists in providing sturdy mountings of the once popular/now obscure, came across this 1911 Allan Monkhouse curiosity that hasn't been seen in New York since 1919.
