The Pepperdine University Fine Arts Division presents its fall musical, Xanadu, at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 10-Saturday, November 12, and Thursday, November 17-Saturday, November 19, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, November 13, at Smothers Theatre on Pepperdine's Malibu campus.

The hit Broadway musical SISTER ACT is partnering with God's Love We Deliver by outfitting runners for their 18th annual Race To Deliver on Sunday, November 20th in Central Park. The first 500 participants to sign up will receive a special nun habit to be worn during the fundraising event. All runners who wear a habit will become eligible for the chance to win SISTER ACT prizes, including free tickets to the show.

The Drama Desk and the Fordham University Theatre Program will present a special panel discussion on Sunday, November 13th at 6:30pm at Fordham University's Lincoln Center campus (Pope Auditorium, 113 West 60th Street). The discussion, titled 'Anatomy of a Breakout,' will reflect on the remarkable trend of breakthrough productions and breakout performances on the New York stage in 2011.

The ladies of the new Broadway-bound musical LYSISTRATA JONES had the chance to meet Kris Humphries in happier days - specifically, October 12 when they shared a basketball court with him at Sports Club LA on the Upper East Side - the girls were training for their new Basketball-themed Broadway musical LYSISTRATA JONES with NBA Hall of Famer Chris Mullin. The SISTER ACT School Challenge Initiative is offering the chance for one lucky class from grades 5 through 9 to win a class field trip to SISTER ACT on Broadway. Teachers are invited to share their class' acts of kindness by submitting a photo of their class giving back to their community, along with the story behind it, for the chance to win a class field trip to SISTER ACT. Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello will assume the role of Mother Superior in the Broadway musical SISTER ACT, beginning performances on Saturday, November 19 at 8:00pm. SISTER ACT is currently in its eighth smash month at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Ms. Carmello takes over from Victoria Clark, who originated the role on Broadway and received a Tony Award nomination for her performance.

We've all heard of Lysistrata, Aristophanes' heroine of the eponymous play, in which she organizes the women of Greece to withhold sex from their men until they negotiated peace. Since its premiere in Athens in 411 BC, the story has been told, and retold, and adapted and reinterpreted and re-situated. And now, musicalized in the upcoming Broadway production of Lysistrata Jones.

The company of Lysistrata Jones recently spent some time in rigorous basketball training with former NBA star and Hall of Famer Chris Millen. Go behind the scenes of their training sessions below!

NCTC will present Xanadu by Douglas Carter Beane, Jeff Lynne, and John Farrar. The show will run from December 2, 2011 through January 15, 2011: Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm.
