The Skokie Theatre is hosting an evening with Heather Moran, one of Chicago's top multi-genre vocalists, on November 21 at 8pm. Moran will be singing tunes of 50's jazz singers including Julie London, Peggy Lee, Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and June Christy. Pianist Damian Espinosa, bassist Marc Piane and drummer Frank Parker join Heather Moran for this event.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, will continue its star-studded Fall 2009 season with the return engagement of MARY CLEERE HARAN from October 29 - 31 and November 5 - 7. The world premiere of her new show celebrating the Johnny Mercer centennial will feature famous standards such as "Day In Day Out," "Out Of This World," and "The Days of Wine and Roses," in addition to lesser known gems such as "It's A Great Big World" from The Harvey Girls and "That Old Music Master," with music by Hoagy Carmichael.

Murray Abraham and Timothy Hutton, Emmy Award winners and Academy Award nominees James Garner and Stockard Channing and popular character actors Wayne Knight ('Seinfeld') and George Wendt ('Cheers,' Second City) will bring Charles Dickens' beloved tale of miserly Ebenezer Scrooge and his visit from the three Ghosts of Christmas to life on the stage of Chicago's Civic Opera House from Dec. 22- 27.
