Casting is complete for SUMMER SHORTS 2017, produced by Throughline Artists at 59E59 Theaters. SUMMER SHORTS 2017 begins on Friday, July 21 and runs through Saturday, September 2.

John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation found its way home to Broadway last night, in its first revival since opening in 1990. After the curtain came down at the Barrymore Theatre, Allison Janney, John Benjamin Hickey, Corey Hawkins and the rest of the company celebrated at Brasserie 8½. John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation, starring seven-time Emmy Award winner Allison Janney ('Mom,' The Girl on the Train), Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart, 'Manhattan') and Corey Hawkins(Straight Outta Compton, '24: Legacy'), directed by Trip Cullman(Significant Other, Yen), officially opened last night, April 25, at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). Tarell Alvin McCraney quite ingeniously explores the inner workings of a contemporary posh big city prep school by pitting five underclassmen against each other as they attempt to find unison in the school's choir. Nothing has changed in the course of the school's longevity; problems that once were a priority, still are. Choir Boy is dexterously directed by Trip Cullman and has a near to perfect acting/singing ensemble, now at the Geffen through October 26 only.
