Stratford Festival Opens Box Office for 2013 Season on Saturday

The Stratford Festival's box office opens to the public this Saturday, January 5, at 9 a.m., with an online advance sale beginning at noon on Friday. Facebook fans, who want to use the Festival's new social ticketing app will be able to purchase tickets as of 9 a.m. today. Tickets are being offered at up to 25% off until January 31, with an opportunity to exchange dates with no added expense.
Des McAnuff Extends at Stratford to 2013; 2012 Season Announced

The Stratford Shakespeare Festival's Board of Governors announceed that Des McAnuff will continue as Artistic Director through the 2013 season.
'Mr. McAnuff is a very gifted director and leader who is much in demand, and we are delighted that he has agreed to continue as our Artistic Director for an additional two years,' says Dr. Lee Myers, Chair of the Board of Governors.
CSC's Bragg Announces Details For 2009-2010 Season

Canadian Stage Company Artistic Producer Martin Bragg announced today details regarding the 2009-2010 Season, marking his final season with the Company after 17 memorable years. The Company's 22nd subscription season kicks off in September and includes five plays at the Bluma Appel Theatre and three at the Berkeley Street Theatre. Rounding out the playbill is the annual CanStage TD Dream in High Park. Season subscriptions are available with 5-play packages starting from $90 and 8-play packages starting from $138. Colm Feore to Star in Straford Shakespeare Festival's 'Macbeth' and 'Cyrano'

Celebrated stage and screen actor Colm Feore will return to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in 2009 to play two leading roles on the Festival stage, Macbeth and Cyrano de Bergerac. 'William Shakespeare's Macbeth involves a journey for the theatre artist that may well be the darkest ride of them all. It leads into a black hole of terror and meaninglessness, and it is not for the faint of heart,' says artistic director Des McAnuff, who will be directing the play.
'Ha'Penny Bridge' Cancels San Francisco Engagement

Narina Entertainment Ltd., the producer of the musical production Ha'Penny Bridge, announced today that the date for San Francisco has been canceled. Ha'Penny Bridge was to be presented as part of the 2007-2008 Best of Broadway series at the Golden Gate Theatre (1 Taylor Street) in July 2008.
