Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections, as well as the selections for a new Special Events section and participants for two panels, at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. The Festival is the centerpiece of the year-round public programs for the Institute, which also hosts 24 residency labs and grants more than $2.5 million to independent artists each year.

Playwright Donald Margulies will be honored with the William Inge Distinguished Achievement in the American Theater Award, at the 34th Annual William Inge Theatre Festival in Independence, Kansas, at Independence Community College on April 19, 2015. The Inge Festival is the Official Theatre Festival of the State of Kansas.

Aquila Morong Studio present TIME STANDS STILL - By Pulitzer Price Winning playwright Donald Margulies, and with an impressive line-up of actors, under the direction of Vicky Jenson. Opening January 17th, at The Secret Rose Theatre in North Hollywood. There will be a preview performance on Jan. 16th, 2014.

The One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF) and INTAR continue their acclaimed partnership with The 3rd Annual One-Minute Play Festival, with part of the proceeds to benefit UNIT 52, INTAR's training program for emerging artists.

Tangent Theatre Company, in co-production with AboutFACE Ireland, announce the selected plays to be featured in their 4th NEWvember New Plays Festival (today, Nov. 6-9) -- a showcase of original plays by promising playwrights to be read at the Carpenter Shop Theater, their 50-seat space in the center of Tivoli village.

Primary Stages just held their annual Gala last night, November 3, 2014 at 583 Park Avenue. The event celebrated the company's 30th anniversary and honor Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies and award-winning producer, Julian Schlossberg. The Honorary Gala Co-Chairs are Brian d'Arcy James, Laura Linney, Elaine May, and Susan Stroman.
