The Rochester Broadway Theatre League (RBTL) is pleased to announce that it will join other professional theater organizations from across the country participating in the tenth annual presentation of "The Jimmy Awards", to be held in New York City on June 25th at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway. The National High School Musical Theater Awards (NHSMTA), founded and produced by Nederlander Presentations, Inc. and Pittsburgh CLO, is a national celebration of outstanding student achievement that recognizes individual artistry in vocal, dance and acting performances by high school students. "The Jimmy Award" is named in honor of James M. Nederlander, legendary Broadway theater owner and producer.

Following last year's production of The Marvelous Wonderettes, Geva Theatre Center presents The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gowns. Written and created by Roger Bean with vocal and musical arrangements by Michael Borth, The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gowns is directed by Melissa Rain Anderson with musical direction by Don Kot and will be performed in the Fielding Stage from tonight, December 7, through December 24. The Key Bank Production of A Christmas Carol, Dickens' classic tale of redemption for the most despised man in London, will awaken your heart and rekindle your spirit this holiday season. This production of A Christmas Carol premiered to great acclaim in 2010 and features a script adapted by Mark Cuddy from Charles Dickens' novella with music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, composer of Geva favorites, Five Course Love and Convenience. A musical journey of survival New York: DEEP Arts in association with The New York Musical Theatre Festival presents the NY Premiere of Moses Man with book & lyrics by Deborah Haber and music by Casey Filiaci, directed by Michael Bush. The show will be feature choreography by Wendy Seyb with musical direction by Don Kot. Moses Man will play from July 8-13, 2015 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).
