Lark Announces PLAYWRIGHTS' WEEK 2011

The Lark Play Development Center announced that seven plays-in-development have been chosen for its 18th annual Playwrights' Week, which will kick off on Tuesday, September 20 at 8pm with the Meet the Writers event and reception, where writers will read excerpts from their work.

Theaterlab (Co-Artistic Directors Carlo Altomare and Orietta Crispino) will host She's Got the Beat, Yeah!, a benefit party celebrating Rwandan poet, director and writer Odile Gakire Katese Monday, July 18th at its Manhattan studios (137 West 14th Street).
