SHARK WEEK, television's longest-running event takes a bite out of summer for its 30th anniversary, premiering Sunday July 22 at 7:00PM ET/PT and continuing through Sunday, July 29. After three decades and hundreds of shows, SHARK WEEK 2018 celebrates this milestone with an all-star lineup of athletes and celebrities including Shaquille O'Neal, Ronda Rousey, Aaron Rodgers, Rob Gronkowski, Lindsey Vonn, Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O'Leary, Daymond John, Guy Fieri and Bear Grylls. In addition, SHARK WEEK's team of renowned scientists deliver all-new groundbreaking shark stories incorporating innovative research technology to reveal compelling insight into the mysterious world of sharks. Finally, SHARK WEEK 2018 will feature the most hours of shark programming ever on Discovery Channel with over twenty hours of celebrity surprises and jaws-dropping shark stories.
Rochester Fringe #7 Announces September Lineup

Organizers of the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival (Wednesday, September 12 - Saturday, September 22) announced the seventh annual festival's entire lineup and invited Rochester to "Join the PARTY" at their BIG REVEAL press conference this morning. For the first time, Rochester's Fringe will span 11 days, up from 10 for the past five years, and it will open on a Wednesday evening.

Lauded singer-songwriter Goapele kicks off the twenty-second season of the Skirball Cultural Center's Sunset Concerts on Thursday, July 26, at 8:00 p.m, with her deeply personal take on R&B, soul, funk, and hip-hop. The evening begins with DJ Mamabear of dublab, who will spin a set at 6:30 p.m.

An original devised play, The Tragical Comical Fool's Game (Or, Nun of Your Business) follows Bella (an almost nun) as she grapples with her destiny and a crazy crew of characters all trying to sway her in various directions. Very (very) loosely based on Measure for Measure, The Fool's Game shows on July 10th at 5pm, 11th at 7pm, 18th at 9:15pm, 21st at 6:15pm, and 26th at 5pm. It runs approximately one hour. All performances will be held at the Christ United Methodist Church at 900 4th Street, SW - Orange Venue. Individual tickets go for $17 and can be purchased on the Capital Fringe website. Please note that you will need a Capital Fringe button ($5 through July 6th) to enter the venue!
THE WAY THE MOUNTAIN MOVED Opens July 14

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will open the world premiere of Idris Goodwin's The Way the Mountain Moved, directed by May Adrales, on July 14 in the Thomas Theatre. Preview performances are July 10, 12 and 13, and the play runs through Oct. 28, 2018.
