Ghostlight Records will release the premiere cast recording of the musical Kurt Vonnegut's God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater - based on the recent production by the New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center musical theater series - in digital and physical formats today, July 28.

Corus Entertainment is set to take Canadians to a galaxy far, far away. Revealed moments ago during its 2017 Upfront presentation, Corus announced tonight a multi-year licensing agreement with The Walt Disney Studios for the broadcast rights to one of the most revered and astronomically successful movie franchises of all time – Star Wars. Beginning fall 2017, 11 films from the epic franchise, including original trilogy titles and yet-to-be-seen theatrical releases, will make their debuts on Corus' empire of conventional and specialty networks, including Global, Showcase, W Network, ABC Spark, YTV, Disney Channel, Disney XD, and more.

Broadway Global has announced the nominees for the 2017 Producer of the Year. Disney Animation turned to Twitter today to announce that FROZEN 2, the next installment of the hit animated film, will be hitting theaters on November 27th, 2019!

Disney is hard at work figuring out what comes next for the Frozen franchise. Entertainment Weekly recently spoke to the film's producer, Peter Del Vecho, and asked him to ask how are things coming along on the highly anticipated sequel.

Samuel French has announced a new musical title in their 101 School Editions Collection: Chicago (High School Edition).

During the past 17 weeks, students, teachers and professional teaching artists have worked together during after school sessions, learning, rehearsing and performing scenes, songs and dance numbers from some of Disney's beloved musicals. The goal being to create a sustainable theater program in the participating schools.

Disney's hit new musical ALADDIN, which opened in the West End in June 2016 is pleased to announce its first dedicated Autism-Friendly Performance will take place on Tuesday 29 August 2017. Tickets are now on sale. It follows the success of previous such performances at The Lion King, whose upcoming Autism-Friendly Performance on 4 June 2017 has now sold out.

Disney's The Lion King JR. is playing at The Duluth Playhouse starting on March 16 at 7:00pm for 2 weeks through March 26, 2017. The 90-minute musical is based on the Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor and the 1994 Disney film.
