La Jolla Playhouse has announced the cast and creative team for its upcoming production of Blood and Gifts, by J.T. Rogers, directed by Lucie Tiberghien, running in the Mandell Weiss Forum June 12 - July 8.

The American National Theatre (Sean Cullen, Founder; Mark Rubinsky, President) will present, in association with InViolet Repertory Theater and Urban Stages, a staged reading of Erin Mallon's Branched, and Robert Emmet Lunney's For Nina, in association with The Directors Company and Two River Theater Company tonight, April 30 at Theater Row's Clurman Theater (410 West 42nd Street). This day of readings follows The ANT's first presentation Nobody Suspects a Butterfly, by Christine Henry. Branched will be performed at 4:00PM, and For Nina at 7:00PM. Admission is FREE to the public.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) welcomes Monk Parrots with the world premiere of HERE I GO, written by David Todd and conceived and directed by Luke Leonard.

The production will be led by Tony nominee Chad Kimball Kimball as Willie.

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for the Alley Theatre's new production of Theresa Rebeck's WHAT WE'RE UP AGAINST, part of the Alley Theatre's New Play Initiative. WHAT WE'RE UP AGAINST runs on the Alley Theatre's Neuhaus Stage May 11 through June 12, 2012.

Red Fern Theatre Company (Melanie Moyer Williams, Executive Artistic Director, Ken Hall, Managing Director) will present the World Premiere of Sharyn Rothstein's (Lunchblocked with Ars Nova; Camp Monster at Williamstown Theatre Festival) MARCH, directed by Kel Haney(Assistant Director, Manhattan Theatre Club's Wit; Good Egg with Red Fern Theatre Company) with Scenic Design by Caite Hevner, Costume Design by Sydney Maresca, Sound Design and Original Music by Anthony Mattana, and Lighting Design by Marie Yokoyama. The production will be cast by Darragh Garvey and Stage Managed by Michal V. Mendelson. March was originally workshopped at the Bay Area Playwright's Festival and was a 2010 finalist for the Yale Drama Series Competition.

This is the second Mayorga play produced in New York, following the critical acclaim of Way to Heaven in 2009, which became a NY Times Critics' Pick, Backstage Critic's Pick and NYTheatre.com Reviewer's Pick. The show plays for a limited engagement from March 9th to March 17th, 2012 at the Directors Company, located at 311 West 43rd Street, 4th Floor, Suite 409.
