Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts will present sweeping array of bold and diverse programming for the fall/winter of its 2023/2024 Season.

Paper Mill has revealed the fourth season of its popular Brookside Cabaret for 8 weeks beginning Wednesday, July 19.

This summer, Midnight Theatre presents 'KTP's Juke Joint Jubilee,' a monthly concert series featuring the sultry soul and blues inspired vocals of the magnetic Kyle Taylor Parker.  Joining this month’s lineup of special guests are Kayla Davion (Tina, white girl in Danger) and Danny Marin (Drunk Musicals).

This summer, Midnight Theatre presents 'KTP's Juke Joint Jubilee,' a monthly concert series featuring the sultry soul and blues inspired vocals of the magnetic Kyle Taylor Parker.  Each month, Parker will present a fresh playlist highlighting traditional blues music made famous by the likes of Dinah Washington and Nina Simone, as well as uniquely reworked arrangements of songs from today’s Top 100. 

BIRDLAND THEATER will present the New York debut of the musical revue “Hooray for Hollywood!” on Thursday, June 15 at 8:30 PM.

Dance Theatre of Harlem is taking the stage at New York City Center for their annual homecoming season through Sunday, April 23.

MUSE/IQUE honors Quincy Jones in performances entitled Quincy at 90: The Power to Produce Change, conducted by Artistic Director Rachael Worby, Thursday, March 2 and Friday, March 3 at the historic Biltmore Bowl at The Biltmore Hotel, 506 S. Grand Avenue, in downtown Los Angeles.  

Making her BroadStage debut, trumpeter/vocalist Bria Skonberg, one of the “most versatile and imposing musicians of her generation” (The Wall Street Journal), links past and present with inventive arrangements from the traditional jazz repertoire, reinterpretations of contemporary classics, and original compositions.

The Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, under the artistic direction of Bradley Shelver, will appear in all new works, Feb. 16-18 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater.  Shelver has created two new works for the event, 12th Room and Random People With Beautiful Parts,  and the program will also see two new works by young dancemakers Lindsay Grymes and Eric Trope, recipients of the first Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative, a new program of the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group.

Celebrating the legends who changed the course of music and entertainment forever, Centaur Theatre presents DARK DIVAS, a musical journey honouring the lives of iconic black female entertainers of the jazz age, created and performed by beloved Montreal jazz singer Ranee Lee.

John Pizzarelli and Catherine Russell will pay homage to Nat King Cole, with the inspiration that his popular TV program brought to the American public “Nat King Cole & The Ladies of Song” features hits by the iconic singers who appeared on the show, including Dinah Washington, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee and Carmen McRae.

“Trouble in Mind” (which preceded the 1955 off-Broadway play by the same name), is an early jazz standard born out of vaudeville, written as a blues-style song by jazz pianist Richard M.
