On the heels of his 2019 Billboard Music Award nomination for “Top New Artist,” announced this morning, twenty-one-year-old Lebanese/American r&b/pop phenomenon Bazzi has released the official follow-up to his back-to-back top 10 singles, “Mine” and “Beautiful.” Marking the rapidly rising star's first new solo music in a year, “Paradise” is available now at all DSPs and streaming services HERE. The track, set to impact Top 40 radio on April 14th and be featured in the upcoming film The Sun Is Also A Star, is joined by an enchanting official video, shot in Mexico City and directed by Bon Duke. dick clark productions and NBC today announced nominees for the "2019 Billboard Music Awards," which honors the year's most successful artists in 56 categories across all genres of music.  "2019 Billboard Music Awards" host Kelly Clarkson and chart-topping duo Dan + Shay, kicked off the nominations this morning, live on NBC's "Today."  Last year's Top Rap Female Artist winner, Cardi B, leads the pack with 21 nods, followed by Drake and Post Malone, each with 17.  Other nominees and possible record-breakers include Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Travis Scott and XXXTENTACION.

The Country Music Association has announced the promotion of Catharine McNelly to Senior Director of Communications, overseeing the organization's media and communications efforts, while Stephanie Shank joins CMA's Communications team as Manager of Production & Talent Relations.

The Academy of Country Music® revealed the winners of the new artist categories for the 54TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, Country Music's Party of the Year®. Luke Combs, LANCO and Ashley McBryde have been named New Male Artist of the Year, New Vocal Group of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year, respectively. The winners each received a surprise phone call from 14-time ACM Award® winner, two-time ACM Entertainer of the Year and current ACM Award nominee Carrie Underwood, who won the 2005 New Female Vocalist category at the 2006 ACM Awards.

Kelly Clarkson will return to host NBC's three-hour live telecast of the "2019 Billboard Music Awards."

The Academy of Country Music® revealed today the full list of Radio Award winners for the 54TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, Country Music's Party of the Year®. Though not part of the telecast, the awards will be presented during the annual radio winners reception which will be held on Saturday, April 6 in Las Vegas, NV, the day prior to the ACM Awards® live telecast from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 8:00 PM ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network. 

“Oscars Live on the Red Carpet,” the official pre-show for the most glamorous show in Hollywood, will give viewers live access to the night's nominees, performers and presenters beginning at 3:30 p.m. PST/6:30 p.m. EST on The ABC Television Network. The red carpet festivities will be hosted by actress and television personality Maria Menounos, award-winning journalist Elaine Welteroth, supermodel Ashley Graham, and actor and singer Billy Porter. Menounos, Welteroth and Graham will interview the nominees, performers and attendees as they arrive, while Porter provides all the fashion and glamour commentary on Oscar Sunday.

Tony-nominated Broadway actress Loretta Ables Sayre returns to Blue Note Hawaii in Waikiki on Feb. 24, with a show at 8 p.m. Ables Sayre's performance will feature jazz standard selections from the Great American Songbook. Joining Loretta will be Hawaii-based musicians Jim Howard on piano, Dean Taba on bass and Darryl Pellegrini on drums.
