Maxine Brown Russell, the vivacious entertainer, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend passed today at Bowman Hospice in Little Rock, Arkansas from complications of heart and kidney disease at the age of 87. Her family was by her side.   Born April 27, 1931 in Campti, Louisiana, Russell was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Birdie Brown, sisters Bonnie Ring and Norma Sullivan, brothers Jim Ed Brown and Raymond Brown, and her son, Tommy H. Russell, Jr. 

FOX has renewed the Emmy Award-winning dance competition series SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE for a 16th season. From Industrial Media's 19 Entertainment and dick clark productions, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE will return this summer on FOX.

NBC has released three promos for the Golden Globe Awards with co-hosts Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and American Cinematheque will celebrate the best in international cinema with the2019 Golden Globe Foreign-Language Nominees Screening Series and Symposium. The screening series will take place January 1-4, 2019 at the Aero Theatre, with the Symposium on January 5 at the Egyptian Theatre, featuring a panel with the directors of the nominated films in the Best Motion Picture - Foreign Language category.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced today that Golden Globe winner and four-time nominee Jeff Bridges will be honored with the 2019 Cecil B. deMille Award at the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 6, 2019. The highly-acclaimed actor of such legendary films as Crazy Heart, The Big Lebowski, True Grit and The Fabulous Baker Boys will accept the honor at the awards ceremony, hosted by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg, and airing LIVE coast to coast from 5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET on NBC.

Today, dick clark productions and ABC announced one of the world's best-selling pop music icons, Christina Aguilera, will perform for a live audience of more than one million people just minutes before the ball drops on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2019." Aguilera last performed on the show in 2007, and this year she will be joined by Bastille, Dan + Shay and New Kids On The Block in the hours leading up to the 2019 countdown. This marks multiplatinum artists Dan + Shay's first appearance on the show, and Bastille's second, while pop super group New Kids On The Block will take the New Year's Rockin' Eve stage for the second time-having last performed in 2011 with Backstreet Boys. America's biggest celebration of the year will take place on MONDAY, DEC. 31, beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST on the ABC Television Network. Additional performers will be announced soon.

As previously announced, award-winning actress Lucy Hale will return to host the 3rd annual Central Time Zone celebration from New Orleans, providing viewers with exclusive performances and celebrity and fan interviews leading up to the midnight countdown and stunning fleur-de-lis drop near Jackson Square to ring in the New Year. It will also mark Malone's first time performing on “Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest.” America's biggest celebration of the year will take place on MONDAY, DECEMBER 31 beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST on the ABC Television Network.
