With The Brian Friel Season and The Full Monty both currently in rehearsals, Artistic Director Daniel Evansannounces that Richard Wilson will take to the stage at Sheffield Theatres for the first time in Samuel Beckett's masterpiece, Krapp's Last Tape.

The unique conversation show, Living The Life returns to Sky Arts for a third series with another fascinating line up of guests. Celebrities confirmed to participate in the new series include Elliott Gould, Twiggy, Derren Brown, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Dave Stewart, Lord Archer and Marianne Faithfull.Living the Life will begin on Wednesday 2nd October at 8pm on Sky Arts 1 HD and Sky Go.

Illusionist Derren Brown has 'spoken of his horror' after a man in the audience fell 15ft from a 'steeply raked upper balcony' during his August 3rd show Infamous at the West End's Palace Theatre. The man was reportedly pushed by his wife 'as a joke,' and managed to grab hold of the lighting rig after his 15 foot drop.

Rose Theatre Kingston and English Touring Theatre will co-produce a new translation of Henrik Ibsen's classic, Ghosts this autumn. Stephen Unwin, outgoing Artistic Director of the Rose Theatre, will direct his own translation which will premiere at the Rose on the 19 September before touring nationwide to Salisbury, Oxford, Guildford, York, Watford, Malvern and Brighton. Unwin has a long standing connection with Ibsen's work, and this will be the 7th Ibsen play he has directed. This will be the second play translation that Unwin has written, following his highly acclaimed translation of The Lady from the Sea in 2012 at the Rose Theatre.
