New York actors Sam LaFrage and Martha Hearn will return to Columbia in June to teach workshops in Advanced Acting and Improvisation for the Actor at Columbia Children's Theatre. Mr. LaFrage's Advanced Acting Workshop will run from June 3 - 14 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Ms. Hearn's Improvisation for the Actor will run from June 3 - 7 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

Sea Tea Improv has just opened the doors of Hartford's first-ever studio for improvisational comedy. The professional theatrical comedy company was founded in Hartford in 2009 and immediately became a hub of the burgeoning comedy community in Connecticut. With the addition of a studio, Sea Tea will be able to expand its educational offerings for teens, adults, and professionals, and plans to rent the space out to other excellent improv performers and companies in need of rehearsal and workshop space.

The Perry Brothers, the ever-popular family duo from Ojai, return to their Ventura home at Rubicon Theatre Company for a one-night-only benefit concert tonight, October 6 at 7:30 p.m. John and Tony Perry will be backed onstage by a band of talented artists on guitar, bass, fiddle, flute, dobro, ukulele and vocals, performing a mix of folk, country, jazz and blues favorites such as "Ventura Highway" by America, "What in the World" by David Bowie, "Lyin' Eyes" by the Eagles and "These are the Days" by Van Morrison.
