COCKTALES to Play Hollywood Fringe 2013, 6/8-28

Mahoobla Prods. in association with Jack Zullo presents COCKTALES, a Fringe Fest comedy improv longform show directed by Miles Stroth. A dream team of LA's top hilarious improvisers take you back in time to 1978 and into Hollywood's hottest disco. Audience suggestions turn one night at the disco, into the party of the decade. Sam LaFrage and Martha Hearn to Teach Advanced Workshops at CCT, June 2013

New York actors Sam LaFrage and Martha Hearn will return to Columbia in June to teach workshops in Advanced Acting and Improvisation for the Actor at Columbia Children's Theatre. Mr. LaFrage's Advanced Acting Workshop will run from June 3 - 14 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Ms. Hearn's Improvisation for the Actor will run from June 3 - 7 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

Jeffrey Sweet Brings One Man Show to ImprovBoston, 4/6

ImprovBoston is set to welcome American writer, journalist, songwriter and theatre historian Jeffery Sweet for his one-man show You Only Shoot The Ones You Love. World's Largest Improv Festival Announces 2013 Chicago Lineup

The largest international improv festival in the world, the 16th annual Chicago Improv Festival, April 1-7, 2013, celebrates the art of improv, showcasing more than 150 acts consisting of 765 improvisers from eight countries with live performances at 20 venues located throughout the city.

ImprovBoston Presents PLAYBOOK in March and April

This Spring an elite team of improvisers from ImprovBoston will do in 75 minutes what it takes most playwrights years to do. In Playbook, running Friday nights at 10 p.m. from March 15-April 12, some of IBs top improvisers will complete an unfinished script from a known playwright. Tickets cost $18 and $14 for students. Sea Tea Improv Hosts Hartford’s First Improvisational Theater Studio Grand Opening Today, 11/9

Sea Tea Improv has just opened the doors of Hartford's first-ever studio for improvisational comedy. The professional theatrical comedy company was founded in Hartford in 2009 and immediately became a hub of the burgeoning comedy community in Connecticut. With the addition of a studio, Sea Tea will be able to expand its educational offerings for teens, adults, and professionals, and plans to rent the space out to other excellent improv performers and companies in need of rehearsal and workshop space.

Rubicon Theatre Welcomes The Perry Brothers in Concert Tonight, 10/6

The Perry Brothers, the ever-popular family duo from Ojai, return to their Ventura home at Rubicon Theatre Company for a one-night-only benefit concert tonight, October 6 at 7:30 p.m. John and Tony Perry will be backed onstage by a band of talented artists on guitar, bass, fiddle, flute, dobro, ukulele and vocals, performing a mix of folk, country, jazz and blues favorites such as "Ventura Highway" by America, "What in the World" by David Bowie, "Lyin' Eyes" by the Eagles and "These are the Days" by Van Morrison.

The Magnet Theater presents The Fourth Annual New York Musical Improv Festival from October 4-7.
