Sheldon Harnick the Tony Award-winning lyricist of Fiddler on the Roof will be Hosting the 92Y's presentation of To Life! Celebrating 50 Years of Fiddler on the Roof. The production will run from May 30 to June 1 at the 92Y.  Recently Mr. Harnick talked about, and performed (with the cast) a song cut before the show got to Broadway. The song titled 'Get Thee Out' will be included his 92Y presentation.

All Dancing! All Singing! is the first Lyrics & Lyricists dance revue, celebrating Irving Berlin's contributions to Hollywood musicals. Artistic director/choreographer Randy Skinner directed a cast of hand-picked young vocalists/dancers -- Darien Crago, Danny Gardner, Drew Humphrey, Kristie Kerwin, Con O'Shea-Creal and Kristen Beth Williams -- who were joined by veterans Sandy Duncan and Don Correia as special guests and Broadwayworld was there. 2Y announces casting for Lyrics & Lyricists 2015, the 45th season of the acclaimed American Songbook series. Cady Huffman, Liz Callaway, Kate Baldwin, Peter Cincotti and Jason Danieley are among the performers interpreting the works of Stephen Sondheim; Irving Berlin; Sheldon Harnick; and such songwriters as Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Leonard Bernstein, who so eloquently illuminated New York City's essence in song. Mitzi Gaynor makes a special guest appearance for the show on Hollywood's Leading Ladies - only the fourth time the legendary entertainer has performed in New York City.

92Y announces the fifth and final show for Lyrics & Lyricists 2015, the 45th season of the country's preeminent American Songbook series. All Dancing! All Singing! Irving Berlin in Hollywood joins the line-up on May 2, 3, 4, 2015 with Randy Skinner as artistic director, stage director and choreographer.

Playwright A. R. ("Pete") Gurney, one of the most-produced playwrights in the history of Westport Country Playhouse, was celebrated for his body of work at the theater's one-night-only fundraising gala, "A Perfect Party: A Gala Evening Honoring A. Playwright A. R. ('Pete') Gurney, who has had 14 of his plays staged at Westport Country Playhouse, will be celebrated at the Playhouse's annual fundraiser, 'A Perfect Party: A Gala Evening Honoring A. R. Gurney,' tonight, September 22. Westport's Arthur Levitt, a valued trustee and longtime supporter of the Playhouse, will also be honored with the Playhouse Leadership Award.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Sunday Symposium on Playwright Alan Ayckbourn, following the Sunday, August 24, 3 p.m. matinee performance of Ayckbourn's romantic comedy, 'Things We Do for Love,' with guests Tony Award nominee John Tillinger, director, and Geneva Carr, cast member.
