New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, this summer celebrating the 30th year of their Powerhouse Theater collaboration, previously announced that Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Kyra Sedgwick would lead the cast of Academy Award and Tony Award winner John Patrick Shanley's new play The Danish Widow, which premieres today, July 16, and continues through July 27, 2014 at Hallie Flanagan-Davis Powerhouse Theater at Vassar College. Shanley also directs the cast which also includes multitalented Broadway vets Craig Bierko and Matt McGrath, as well as stage and screen actress Annika Boras.

This week, Jay Productions LTD released the original cast album of Jonathan Brielle's critically acclaimed musical 'Himself and Nora' about the tumultuous romance of famed writer James Joyce and his muse, lover and most ardent supporter, chambermaid Nora Barnacle. After it's success at the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival in July, 2012 at The Theater at St. Clements, Michael Bush's critically production was then presented last season at Hamilton Stage in Rahway, New Jersey.

STAGE17, a new digital entertainment destination for episodic fiction and reality programming, launched the original series on Sunday, April 6, 2014 and part two airs today, April 11, 2014.

Today, we are particularly pleased and grateful to announce that Tony Award winner Alice Ripley has agreed to join the starry roster of leading ladies and gentlemen already confirmed for the event and pay tribute to the classic composer.

Phil Geoffrey Bond will direct FUNNY GIRL, as part of 54 Sings' series, and will feature Carole J. In an unusual development, an All-Star concert will take place on January 9th to help raise funds for another All-Star show that will take place just two-a-half weeks later. The first show, 'I Love The Nightlife' will be a 90 minute spectacular that will include a post show party. It will take place at 7 PM on Thursday, January 9th in the Jerry Orbach Theater at the Snapple Center on 50th Street and Broadway (upstairs where The Fantasticks has been playing).

The most wonderful time of the year gets even brighter with music of the season presented by Tony Award winner Debbie Gravitte and her star-studded cast who will deck the halls at The Ridgefield Playhouse in three performances this year -- tonight, December 19, at 7:30 p.m., and Friday, December 20, at 5 p.m. & 8 p.m.
