The National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) today announced the appointment of Stacey Glassman Mizener as Vice President of Development and Dejha Carrington as Vice President of External Relations.

The National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) has announced that applications to become a 2018 YoungArts Winner will be accepted beginning today, March 15 through October 13, 2017. YoungArts identifies and nurtures the nation's most accomplished emerging artists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts between the ages of 15 and 18 or in high school grades 10-12. One of the most comprehensive programs dedicated to supporting and propelling young artists, YoungArts provides opportunities to participate in its programs nationwide and engage with renowned mentors, monetary awards, including prizes of up to $10,000, the chance to become a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, and guidance in taking important steps toward achieving their professional and artistic goals. The search is over! Following a nationwide man-hunt, casting for the highly-anticipated production, MAGIC MIKE LIVE LAS VEGAS is now finalized. Inspired by the ever-popular Magic Mike film franchise and conceived by the film's star Channing Tatum, MAGIC MIKE LIVE LAS VEGAS will feature 13 of the hottest and most talented males from around the country. Preview performances for the sizzling production will begin on Thursday, March 30 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino inside of the mythic Club Domina. The show will celebrate its official opening night on Friday, April 21.

GRAMMY® Award-winning Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers will salute fellow Texan and music legend Kenny Rogers at the 2017 Texas Medal of Arts Awards onToday, February 22 at the Texas Performing Arts Center in Austin.  The Gatlin Brothers and vocalist Vikki Carr will perform Rogers' classic hit 'Islands In the Stream' before presenting him with theLifetime Achievement Award.  Larry Gatlin and Carr will also perform Rogers' 1980 #1 hit, 'Lady.'

The Texas Cultural Trust celebrates the 2017 honorees for the biennial Texas Medal of Arts Awards, taking place this week, February 21 and 22, 2017, for the first time ever at Texas Performing Arts at the University of Texas at Austin.
