Andrew Keates' AS IS to Transfer to Trafalgar Studios

After a sell-out run at the Finborough Theatre in 2013, William M. Hoffman's As Is now transfers to Trafalgar Studios with a stunning new cast and design. Using humour and sensitivity, As Is shatters the apathy and ignorance surrounding AIDS in the 1980s. Celebrating its 30th anniversary since first opening in New York, where it was hailed by critics as the most powerful play of the year, the significance and urgency of As Is has become even greater as more people than ever before are contracting HIV.

Mamie Gummer, Boyd Gaines & More Join OUR CLASS Staged Reading During Holocaust Remembrance Week

Following critically-acclaimed runs at London's National Theater and Philadelphia's The Wilma Theater along with recognition in Israel and throughout Europe, The Temple Emanu-El Skirball Center and the Polish Cultural Institute New York present a one-night-only staged reading of Our Class by Tadeusz S?obodzianek. The cast includes Emmy, Oscar and Tony-winner Ellen Burstyn; Obie winner Alvin Epstein; Tony-nominee Boyd Gaines; Mamie Gummer (The Good Wife, Emily Owens, M.D.); Randy Harrison (Queer as Folk); Grant Kretchik; Obie winner Brian Murray; John Pankow (Episodes, Mad About You); Obie winner Austin Pendleton. The staged reading is directed by Cosmin Chivu and includes original music by Jesse Selengut performed by Tatiana Eva-Marie (vocal), Marius Mihalache (cimbalom) and Stefan Zeniuk (clarinet). Previously announced performers, Nina Arianda, Kim Cattrall and Hunter Parrish, are no longer available to participate in the reading.

The play that earned emerging playwright Simon Longman a Channel 4 bursary returns to stages up and down the country this Spring as Pentabus tour this comic and moving depiction of rural unemployment. First staged in 2013, the show will receive its London premiere at Soho Theatre, while continuing to reach a diverse range of audiences at theatres across the UK.

Soho Theatre Announces Philip McKinley and Jenny Rainsford to Join Cast of MICROCOSM

Philip McGinley (Game of Thrones, E4's Drifters, Herding Cats; Hampstead) and Jenny Rainsford (Headlong's The Seagull, No Quarter; Royal Court) reunite after starring alongside each other in Straight (Sheffield/Bush) for the world premiere of Matt Hartley's new play which opens for a three-week run on 9 May with previews from 7 May.
