'THE RAT PACK IS BACK!,' a tribute to the legendary 1960s stars known as 'The Rat Pack,' will play the Rosemont Theatre, 5400 N. River Road, for one-performance-only, Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 12 at 10 a.m.

On Monday, Adelaide's social media was aflame with pictures of a man and his goat: Gary the Goat to be exact. Gary and his human-comedian Jimbo Bazoobi are in town travelling from Perth to Adelaide, trying to find gigs along the way.

Bringing artists from all over the world, and from most every genre, the Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College - formerly known as Three Stages at Folsom Lake College - will offer literally hundreds of performances in 2013-14. Beginning in late July, 2013 and extending into spring 2014, the new season includes world-class performers like Kenny Loggins, Seinfeld's Jason Alexander, and Savion Glover; Broadway productions such as Peter and the Starcatcher, The Addams Family and Bring It On: The Musical (all of which are appearing in the capital region for the first time ever); and an unprecedented season of dance in Folsom which kicks off with Alonzo King LINES Ballet and also features Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Bellydance Superstars, Ballroom with a Twist, and return visits of the popular Moscow Festival Ballet's Swan Lake and Diavolo Dance Theatre; and many more, all on the stages at the Harris Center.

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) is revving up for the 8th Annual Car Show and Street Festival on Sunday, July 28, 2013, from Noon to 5:00pm, on EPA between Broad and Dickinson streets. More than 140 cars, motorcycles and trucks are expected to compete for Best of Show and other top honors. The accompanying street festival will feature live music, circus performances, street vendors, rack sales, kids' activities and the Bang! Boom! CRAFT! Show. Wine and dine among the cars as award-winning restaurants serve street food and summertime drinks at festival prices. Admission is FREE for attendees and $15 for cars. The rain date is Sunday, August 4, 2013.

Legendary actor/comedian Don Rickles will be honored with the Friars Club's Lifetime Achievement Award for Comedy at a star-studded awards gala which will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. Among those scheduled to participate in honoring Rickles through their songs or words will be Bob Costas, Tony Danza, Kathy Griffin, Diana Krall, John Mayer, Bob Newhart, Regis Philbin, Joan Rivers and Bob Saget.

The 46th edition of Festival d'ete de Quebec, Canada's largest outdoor music event, will take place in the historic and breathtaking Quebec City from July 4 to 14, 2013. Presenting more than 1,000 artists and offering more than 300 performances spread over twelve outdoor and indoor venues, the eleven-day Festival is one of North America's most important summer celebrations. The Festival features some of the most notable names in the international music scene, provides a chance to discover rising stars and new talents, and showcases a wide range of genres including rock, pop, hip-hop, French song, electro, jazz, classical music and world music.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Artistic Director Robert Battle has announced casting for the Company's return to Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts at the David H. Koch Theater from June 12-16, 2013. He has also invited three new dancers to join and perform with the acclaimed 30 member Company during the seven-performance engagement.

The three-day outdoor food, drink and music festival is produced by Superfly Presents and will take place today, May 17 through Sunday, May 19, 2013. The Joe's Pub Stage will host eight performances on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19.

Maurice Hines puts his passion for tap, his late brother Gregory, and classic Big Band music on display in TAPPIN' THRU LIFE: AN EVENING WITH MAURICE HINES. Backed by the Berklee College of Music Select Big Band, under the direction of drummer Sherrie Maricle, Hines tells his story, shows off his vocal chops, and delights the audience with his warm, relaxed presence. The program is stingy with his dancing, but The Manzari Brothers ratchet up the excitement and kick up a lot of dust in their turn in the spotlight.
