Today the Donmar Warehouse announces the cast for The Weir, which will be followed by the world premiere of a new play also by Conor McPherson this June. The casts for both shows represent a gathering of some of the finest exponents of McPherson's work and the back to back productions will allow audiences to see his latest work alongside his recognised masterpiece. Back by popular demand, 'The Apparel Oft Proclaims the Man*' - A 'Shakespeare Uncovered' Costume Exhibit, which was originally on display for two weeks in January at the WKNO Digital Media Center, will return for a one-month run beginning Monday, March 18. The exhibit, free and open to the public, is available for viewing March 18 through April 12 during office hours in Gallery Ten Ninety One and is curated by Tennessee Shakespeare Company (TSC) designer Bruce Bui.
PBS' latest and greatest salute to the Bard -- the six-part series "Shakespeare Uncovered" -- has left the airwaves, but the critically acclaimed show and a variety of great Shakespeare-related content is available online. BBC AMERICA today announced the acquisition of the eight part ensemble drama Broadchurch starring David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Vicky McClure and Arthur Darvill. The series explores what happens to a small community when it suddenly becomes the focus of a major murder investigation and is subjected to the full glare of the media spotlight. Broadchurch will premiere as part of BBC AMERICA's groundbreaking drama block, Dramaville, in 2013.
