Roundabout Theatre Company's new production of  The Cherry Orchard, starring Diane Lane, Chuck Cooper, Tavi Gevinson, John Glover, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Harold Perrineau and Joel Grey, has found its full company.

After enjoying its World Premiere engagement earlier this spring at the Playroom Theater, A Class Act, the inaugural and relevant new play by attorney and playwright Norman Shabel, will now hold court at New World Stages  - Stage 5(340 West 50th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues) for a summer run.  Produced by Eric Krebs, performances will begin on Saturday, July 9 at 8pm and continue through Sunday, September 4.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today that due to overwhelming audience response, the world premiere staging of Joseph Dougherty's Chester Bailey will add an extra performance at A.C.T.'s Strand Theater (1127 Market St, San Francisco) on Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m.. The limited engagement must close on Sunday, June 12. A.C.T. favorite and Academy Award nominee, David Strathairn (Underneath the Lintel at A.C.T.; film: 'Good Night, and Good Luck,' 'Lincoln,' 'The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel'), returns to American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) for a three-week engagement of Joseph Dougherty's Chester Bailey beginning today, May 25 at A.C.T.'s Strand Theater. The production is currently scheduled to run through June 12.

A rare revival of Orpheus Descending by Tennessee Williams will run for a limited engagement, April 23-May 14, at St. John's Lutheran Church, one of the oldest buildings in Greenwich Village. Directed by Austin Pendleton, the production features a 16-person cast lead by Irene Glezos, Thomas Beaudoin and Beth Bartley. Williams's modern version of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice opened on Broadway in 1957 and was revived in 1989 in a celebrated production directed by Sir Peter Hall and starring Vanessa Redgrave. It has rarely, if ever, been produced in New York since.

La Jolla Playhouse announces the cast and creative team for Guards at the Taj, the final production of the 2015/2016 season.
